The Insurance Expert Group was founded by Jeff Barnes, Michael Camilleri, Robert Smart, and Anthony J. Grippa as a result of a prior successful relationship between the founders in connection with significant legal matters taking place in multiple venues. The founders have developed a synergistic approach to providing consultation and expert witness assistance in all areas of insurance, including property/casualty (including but not limited to flood, fire, windstorm, workers' compensation, and administrative proceedings), claims practices, coverage disputes, regulatory matters, reinsurance, and agent liability for plaintiffs and defendants in litigation, petitioners and respondents in administrative proceedings, and parties involved in non-litigious claims negotiations or those seeking to address potential insurance issues before they become problematic.

The founders of IEG have over 100 combined years of experience at the State and national levels, including administrative, trial, and appellate proceedings and prior testimony before the United States Congress. IEG's founders are presently engaged in insurance-related matters throughout the United States and Europe. IEG maintains offices in Florida and Nevada, USA, and its members are available for consultation, expert witness, and related services worldwide.
